10-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Congratulations on the purchase of your mattress with us. Mattress To Door offers a 10 year manufacturer's limited warranty on all our mattresses, because we are committed to providing high-quality product durability, and excellent quality to ensure you get a comfortable and sound sleep. If any of the mattresses sold by us, is defective due to faulty manufacturing or material during the 10 year Limited Warranty Period, we make sure that the product is either replaced or repaired after diagnosis of the damage.
This non-transferable warranty is only applied to the original owner of the mattress and only covers the aspects mentioned here.
Mattress To Door takes no other responsibility, and all other warranties (including store-warranty) are hereby waived and disclaimed, if you agree to take the 10 Year Limited Warranty. This warranty lasts from the original date of purchase of the product purchased. This warranty is only valid if the purchaser uses the product for personal consumer use. The warranty will no longer apply is there is any resale of the mattress whether new or used. Original proof of purchase, that is our invoice (including date) and the warranty document provided will be required to make a warranty claim.
In order to claim the warranty, the purchaser is required to required to keep the original copy of these documents during the 10 year warranty period. The warranty applies only to the mattress and no other accessories or other products that are associated with the purchase of the mattress. This warranty is applicable only to mattresses in normal consumer use, and specifically will exclude any mattress used for a medical patient. Mattresses that need to be replaced due to warranty issues will not be eligible for model upgrades or downgrades, under any circumstances. The replacement mattress provided will be the same as the original mattress purchased, unless the model discontinues, in that case similar models will be offered. If all the necessary requirements are fulfilled, in that case this warranty shall apply only if (i) the mattress develops a visible indentation that is greater than one 1.00 inch compared to the surrounding mattress areas after no weight is put on the mattress (ii) If due to any reason the coils get loose, or any material of the mattress cracks, splits, or is displaced, during normal usage and normal handling as per Mattress To Door's care and use instructions (can be found at mattresstodoor.ca) This indentation/sinking or sagging should be large enough in terms of width and length to be considered for the warranty. The mattress must be flat on the floor to be measured (so that indentations in the mattress can be differentiated from problems with your foundation or frame). A Broom/Stick test must be performed and images and proof might be required, when a warranty claim is received.
Mattress To Door expects you to not experience such indentations, but if you do, we extend full support because this is covered under the terms of this limited warranty. Mattresses are eligible for this warranty only if they are used on a firm, flat, non-spring foundation (whether non-moving type or adjustable type) which is strong to remain flat and firm under the weight of the mattress, from the date of delivery onward to the date when the warranty claim is made without any inconsistency; otherwise the warranty is void. Any other arrangement of placing the mattress (whether long or short term), including but not limited to foundations of any other kind, a storage facility whether outdoor or indoor, or use of a frame that is not offering sufficient support beneath the foundation, voids this warranty. Sturdy support underneath the mattress is a must. For sizes Queen and King, or custom sizes similar or bigger to these, must have a strong foundation with center support. Mattress To Door may require the purchaser to provide proof of the sufficiency of the foundation base and frame before this warranty will apply. This warranty shall not apply if we determine in its reasonable discretion that the mattress or foundation base of the mattress has been damaged, used incorrectly, or neglected; the factors to determine the same will be any kind of; Tears, stains, odors, unsanitary conditions, folds, footprints, burns, cuts, or signs of jumping on the bed, rodents, insect damage or other infestation, damage from liquids or gels or blood or bodily fluids or other fluids, or damage from weather or sun exposure. We highly recommend the use of a stretchy, breathable mattress protector because without such protection your mattress may not be clean enough or undamaged enough to have this warranty apply.
